Fashion as
expression.
As part of Afro Fashion Association’s “A Rising Voice” event, QIFEI will present Worldly Hearth, created by designer YILIN NA (Abel Na).
Almost a decade after graduating from Istituto Marangoni, YILIN NA returns to Milan as Creative Director and Designer of QIFEI.
The runway becomes more than a presentation of garments. Heritage, instinct, memory and contemporary life are transformed into silhouette, texture, movement and form.
“What we feel. What we remember. What we choose to create.”
MALAKING
麻辣王子
A familiar taste becomes a visual language.
The spicy snack MALAKING, associated with Chinese popular tradition, becomes a collective memory of Gen-Z — playful, familiar and deeply rooted in pop culture.
QIFEI transforms this relationship with everyday objects and symbols into fashion, translating taste and sensation into silhouette, texture, colour, movement and symbolic elements.
Minimalism. Sophisticated comfort. Discreet luxury. Craftsmanship precision.
YILIN NA
Also known as Abel Na, YILIN NA graduated in Fashion & Design from Istituto Marangoni.
His creative practice combines research, observation and sensoriality, transforming everyday experiences into visual language.
Rooted in craftsmanship tradition but guided by a new generation, QIFEI creates bold silhouettes, raw details and unexpected forms.
Worldly
Hearth
人间烟火
The vital rhythm of everyday life.
For SS27, Worldly Hearth explores the relationship between clothing, everyday experience and human connection.
MALAKING becomes the starting point for a reflection on collective memory and pop culture.
The experience of taste is transformed into a visual and tactile experience.
Chinese tradition is reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, moving beyond conventional symbols and retro stereotypes.
