DIGITAL HEAT

DREAMS BY ALGORITHMS
Natasha Derets AI Designer, Digital Fashion Designer, Stylist, Author
& Co-Founder of D.Wonder Magazine and MOA

When I first started working with artificial intelligence, I wasn't interested in whether AI could replace humans. I was interested in something entirely different: how technology could expand human imagination and open up new possibilities for creativity. This question became the starting point of my journey and led to the creation of Digital Heat, which I co-authored.

My name is Natalia Derets. I am an AI Designer, Digital Fashion Designer, stylist, co-founder of D.Wonder Magazine, and the creator of projects that combine art, fashion, and modern technology.

Throughout my career, I have observed how the design industry is changing, and today I see how artificial intelligence is becoming one of the most significant tools of the new creative era. For me, Digital Heat is not just a book about AI. It is a book about people. We live in a time when artificial intelligence can generate images, create visual concepts, and assist in the development of collections, architecture, advertising, digital fashion, and art projects. But behind every powerful project, there's still a human being—their ideas, experience, taste, observation, and ability to see what doesn't yet exist.

“I wanted to show that artificial intelligence isn’t a competitor to creativity. It’s a new tool.”

It's a new tool, like photography, computers, or the internet, which once transformed the worlds of art and design. Every technological revolution first raises doubts and then becomes part of our daily work. While working on Digital Heat, I explored how AI is changing the processes of creating visual art, fashion, design, and storytelling. I was inspired by the opportunity to combine the aesthetics of high fashion, modern digital technologies, and human imagination into a single creative space.

Digital fashion holds a special place in the book. Today, designers can create collections without physical limitations, experimenting with materials, forms, and clothing architecture that are impossible to achieve traditionally. Artificial intelligence accelerates the search for solutions, but it is the designer who determines the idea, style, and emotional content of each project.

I am convinced that the future belongs to those who learn to combine technology and humanistic thinking. The new creative economy will demand not only technical skills but also the ability to create ideas, meanings, stories, and emotions. Human imagination is becoming the primary competitive advantage.

Digital Heat is an invitation to explore artificial intelligence without fear or stereotypes. It is an exploration of a new visual culture in which innovations don't displace humans, but rather empower them to think bolder, create more ambitiously, and discover new forms of artistic expression. I believe that the future of creativity is born not in the confrontation between humans and technology, but in their collaboration. It is at this intersection that ideas emerge that have the potential to transform industries, inspire people, and shape a new history of art. Digital Heat is my attempt to capture the beginning of this new era.
